includes brushing, removing under-coat, coat trimming, nail clipping and ear cleaning.
To maintain a healthy life-style a dog should be groomed every 4-6 weeks.
Brushing:
a good brushing will keep your dog looking and feeling great. It's important
to use proper tools to your dog's coat type. Proper and frequent brushing
reduces the shedding substantially and it is ideal for removing dead hair and spreading the skin's natural
oils.
Bathing:
we use special shampoos depending on a condition of dog’s skin
Trimming:
we trim according to the breed following its grooming guidelines, with
consideration of specific requirements made by the dog's owner.
Nail Clipping:
trimming your dog's nails is not just a part of grooming,
but is important for your dog's health as well. It is important to
remember that untrimmed nails can cause a variety of problems including
broken nails which are painful and bleed profusely. In some cases,
nails will actually curl and grow back into the dog's feet.
Our regular customers can enjoy FREE NAIL CLIPPING, between grooming sessions!
Ear Cleaning:
regular ear check-ups and cleaning contributes to healthy ears, free
of painful infections. We include ear inspections and cleaning in our
grooming visits.
Many pet owners do not realize that dogs can grow hair in the ear canal,
even large amounts common to some Poodles and Terriers, as well as other
breeds. For this reason, many owners never check their dog-ears unless
the dog is shaking or scratching its ear(s). By that time there is usually
an ear health problem requiring veterinary medical inspection.
Common ear problem signs are:
- Head shaking and ear scratching.
- Ears sensitive to touch.
- Discharges and powerful odors.
- Hematomas (blood blisters) on the ear flap.
- Swelling and skin redness.
- Melanomas (tumors).
Styling:
appearance is everything. The glamorous look can be easily achieved
by applying finishing spray and styling aids.
